SA537 CL3 steel plate and SA537 CL1 steel plate are both used for pressure vessels and boilers building.SA537 CL3 steel plate shall be done quenched and tempered heat treatment,however SA537 CL1 steel plate done normalized heat treatment.Vacuum treatment and impacting test are supplementary requirements for SA537 CL3 steel plate and SA537 CL1 steel plate.General requirements for SA537 CL1 steel plate and SA537 CL3 steel plate shall be comply to specification ASME SA20/SA20M.
Comparasion of SA537 CL1 steel plate,SA537 CL3 owned a higher yield strength above 380 Mpa for plate thickness equal and below 65mm.SA537 CL1 steel plate owned minimum 345 Mpa.EN 10204 3.2 TYPE mill certificate can be offer to SA537 CL1 steel plate with ABS,TUV,SGS or other third party inspections.
