SA537 CL1 steel plate and SA537 CL2 steel plate come from standard specification ASME SA537/SA537M pressure vessel plates,heat treatment and carbon-Managanese-Silicon steel materials.Comparasion with ASME SA537 CL1 steel plate and SA537 CL2 steel plate,SA537 CL1 steel plate need Normalized heat treatment,but SA537 CL2 steel plate need Quenched and tempered heat treatment.SA537 CL2 steel plate owned a higher yield strength and tensile strength than SA537 CL1 steel plate in mechanical property.
When purchasing SA537 CL1 steel plate and SA537 CL2 steel plate,end users normally need low temperature impacting test,the temperature can be -20℃,-48℃,-50℃,-60℃.Ultrasonic examination in according to A435/A435M or A578/A578M,simulated post welded heat treatment of mechanical test coupons of SA537 CL1 steel plate.
