High strength steel plate ASME SA514 Grade R shall be under quenched and tempered.Tension test and Hardness test shall be done in the mill when rolling.All the test result values for structural steel plate SA514GrR should write on the original mill test certificate. SA514 Grade R is a high strength steel plate with the minimum yield strength at 690Mpa for the thickness belows 65mm,and 620 Mpa for the thickness above 65mm,the tensile strength shall be within 760-895 Mpa. The manufacturer may reheat-treat plates that fail to meet the mechanical property requirements of this specification when rolling of high tension steel plate SA514GrR
