In specification GB/T 16270 Q890D steel plate shall be done impacting test at low temperature minus 20 Degree centigrade,however Q890E steel plate shall be done impact test at minus 40 Degree centigrade.The minimum impact test energy both above 27 J in longitudinal for Q890D steel plate and Q890E steel plate.
The high tensile strength for Q890E steel plate and Q890D steel plate shall be within 940-1100 Mpa for steel plate thickness equal and belows 50 millimeter,above 50 millimeter plate,the tensile strength shall be within 880-1100 Mpa.Currently Xinsteel industrial can supply the maximum thickness for Q890E steel plate ans Q890D steel plate till 320 millimeter with quenching and tempering heat treatment.
