EN 10216 P235GH steel tube and EN 10210 S235JRH steel pipe

P235GH steel tube comes from steel specification EN 10216 seamless steel tubes for pressure purposes with elevated temperature properties.However S235JRH steel pipe comes from EN 10210 specification for fine grain structural steel hollow sections.S235JRH circular hollow section named as S235JRH steel pipe.These two steel grades owned the similar yield strength and tensile strength range.So what is main different between P235GH steel tube with S235JRH steel pipe ?


EN 10216 P235GH steel tube can be used in elevated temperature pressure vessels,so Nomalized heat treatment must be done when supplying P235GH steel tube,Normalized temperature within 880-940 ℃.But S235JRH steel pipe in EN 10210 specification no need to do normalized,these pipes mainly used for common structural transportation usage.Also P235GH steel tube have requirements for some alloy elements contains in chemical composition.
