Three major steel mills in Brazil raised the prices of flat steel

Due to the rising production costs, following the raised prices of flat products in January, the three major steel mills in Brazil began the second round of price increasing in this year.
Minas Gerais raised the steel flat material prices in March, announced at the end of February and hot rolled increased by 8% and cold rolled 6%, galvanized steel sheet 12%. Arcelor Mittal decided that hot rolled steel coil increased by 7.32% since March 5, cold rolled 4.9%, galvanized steel sheet 7.23%. Followed by Ferrous metallurgy companies in Brazil, thermal volume would increase by 7% since March 12, cold rolled 6% , galvanized sheet 8%.
