Steel exports nearly 20 million tons in the first four months

The latest Customs data shows that in April 2013, China exports steel of 555 million tons, an increase of 27 million tons from the previous month, an increase of 18.84%; From January to April, China exports 19.98 million tons of steel, an increase of 19%.
In April, China imported 1.26 million tons of steel, an increase of 30,000 tons from the previous month, an increase of 11.5%; From January to April, China imported 4.49 million tons of steel, down 0.9%.
From January to April, China's steel billet has no exports. China imports billet of 40,000 tons in April, 190,000 tons of steel billets from January to April, an increase of 47%.
