According to the information news,  the 17th committee session seventh plenary (enlarged) meeting of the Shougang Corporation held solemnly in January 15, 2013. This meeting setted main objectives of 2013:the Group's sales revenue is 221 billion yuan,the steel output is 32.36 million tons.

The year 2012 is very difficult for China's steel industry, Shougang proposes to “open the horizons to achieve the Shougang great transformation ",and efforts to promote the work of three levels: First, the structure restructuring of the steel industry. The development strategic is“the main industry stronger, Multi-industry collaboration, Create an integrated service provider".While highlighting the restructuring and developmentof the region in Beijing; Second,the structure restructuring of the products, steel products and non-steel products should continue to shift from low-end to high-end, including the level of technology and management; Third, the  restructuring of the institutional mechanisms and ideological and cultural so that adapt to the new change of Shougang development pattern. Thisphase transition task will be strived to achieve in the 100th anniversary of the Shougang Group.
