According to the China Iron and Steel Association statistics, in September the economic benefits of medium and large iron and steel enterprises slightly increasing comparing with August.

In September 2013,medium-large steel enterprises realized sales income of 306.209 billion yuan , down 0.83% ; realized profits and taxes of 10.116 billion yuan , growth of 2.26% ; realized a total profit of 3.266 billion yuan , growth of 4.82% comparing with August 2013.
　
　
From January to September,medium-large iron and steel enterprises realized a total sales income of 2.729547 trillion yuan , an increase of 2.43% ; profits and taxes 69.482 billion yuan , an increase of 45.10% ; realized a total profit of 11.276 billion yuan.Sales margin was 0.41 %, up 0.63 percentage points comparing with the same period in 2012.
