Chinese steel makers may acquisire of the Brazilian steel mill of ThyssenKrupp

    14TH June foreign media reports said the Chinese steel makers expressed more interest on ThyssenKrupp plans to sell Brazilian steel mill. German media said that the two largest steelmakers in China - Hebei Iron and Steel Group(HBIS) and Baosteel Group convey the signal of interest for this new steel plant.
 
    Nevertheless, the acquisition process is still in its infancy - so far even a review (due diligence) have not yet been introduced. ThyssenKrupp is considering the different possible options currently. The company refused to comment on the potential acquirer or partner. The company further said that the acquisition process need to take some time.
 
    ThyssenKrupp lost billions of euros through setting up steel mills overseas.
Therefore, the company's new president Heinrich Hiesinger is considering selling its Brazilian steel mill and Alabama plant in America who bought steel plates from this mill.
