June 25th, World Steel Dynamics (WSD) announced the latest world-class steel enterprises competitiveness rankings,and there are total 35 enterprises ranked which includes Baosteel, Anshan Steel, Sha Steel, Wuhan Iron and Steel, Maanshan Iron & Steel from China mainland.

It is reported that in the ranking process, the World Steel Dynamics Corporation conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the enterprise in accordance with the scale, capacity expansion in the high-growth markets, close to the downstream users,etc total 23 index.Anshan Iron and Steel virtue in terms of size, capacity expansion, located on the high growth market, iron ore and other indicators of advantage, the weighted average ranked 22 with average value 6.68. The other four finalists in mainland China iron and steel enterprises were ranked as follows:Baoshan Iron and Steel ranked 4,Sha Steel ranked 23, Wuhan Iron and Steel ranked 30, Maanshan Iron and Steel ranked 32.Last year ranking of these five iron and steel enterprises in mainland were: Baoshan Iron and Steel ranked 14, Shasteel ranked 21, Anshan Iron and Steel ranked 22, Wuhan Iron and Steel ranked 30, Maanshan Iron and Steel ranked 31.
