Steel plate LR Grade AH40 is mainly used to building ships and vessels,so we also call this steel as LR Grade AH40 ship plate,LR Grade AH40 shipbuilding steel plate,LR Grade AH40 marine steel plate or LR Grade AH40 shipbuilding plate.Anyway these LR Grade AH40 shipbuilding steel plates are the same and owned higher steel strength at minimum yield strength 390 Mpa and with minimum tensile strength 510 Mpa.Done low temperature impacting test for LR Grade AH40 under zero centigree when rolling.
For preventing rusty and using directly when our customers get shipbuilding plate LR Grade AH40,we would perfer to provide primary treatment including shotting&blasting&painting and other services in our workshops.We suggestion the name of primer as E06-2 Inorganic Zinc silicate shop primer and Epoxy zinc rich primer,and the surface treatment shall be according to ISO 8501-1 Class SA2.5.
