KR Grade B steel plate is common strength shipbuilding plate which is mainly used for built hull of vessels,ship body construction.Normally when rolling,Air rolled and Control Rolled is ok for ship plate KR Grade B with the thickness equal and belows 40 Millimeters,and for thickness above 40mm,the heat treatment shall be Normalised or TMCP,these two technical treatment would improve steel strength in yield and tensile points.Low temperature impacting test for KR Grade B shall be done under zero centigree when rolling.
Our mill test certificate for KR Grade B would be issued under format EN 10204 TYPE 3.2,it would indicate the five main chemical elements contains percentage and mechanical property which including yield strength and tensile strength for sample pieces.Else it should be drafted the impacting temperature and impacting energy value on this mill test certificate.The steel grade KR Grade B,heat number and certificate number all should be followed.
