Steel GL E420 is mainly used to building ships,so we also call this steel as GL Grade E420 ship plate,GL E420 shipbuilding steel plate,GL E420 marine steel plate or GL E420 shipbuilding plate.Anyway these GL E420 plates are the same and owned higher steel strength at minimum yield strength 420 Mpa and with minimum tensile strength 530 Mpa.Done low temperature impacting test for GL E420 under 40 centigree when rolling.
