The highest tensile strength shipbuilding steel plate DNV Grade EH40 is nromally used to build ships and vessels.So we also call this steel as DNV Grade EH40 ship plate,DNV Grade EH40 shipbuilding plate,DNV Grade EH40 marine steel plate.Anyway these DNV Grade EH40 steel plates are the same and owned higher steel strength at minimum yield strength 390 Mpa and with minimum tensile strength 510 Mpa.Heat treatment Normalized shall be done when rolling and keep the steel property.For low temperature impacting test,ship steel plate DNV Grade EH40 have to be done under minus 40 centigree.
