Hot rolled steel plate S355J2+N with thickness 40mm and 30mm shall be done Normalized heat treatment or Normalizing rolling condition.Charpy V-noth impact testing shall be done at low temperature -20℃ with minimum 27 J impact energy according to specification EN 10025-2.

Steel plate S355J2 has a high strength than common carbon structural steel plate S235JR,after normalized or normalizing rolling,steel plate S355J2+N has smaller grain size than hot rolled S355J2 steel plate,and the comprehensive mechanical properties improved also.So Normalized S355J2+N steel plate normally used in the situiation of fatigue or stress corrosion surroundings.Normally plate thickness above 40mm,we suggest our customer choosing Normalized S355J2+N steel plate.
