In American steel standard,there is steel grade A36 in steel specification of ASTM A36/A36M (Carbon structural steel plates).Steel grade SA36 in steel specification of ASME SA36/SA36M (Carbon structural steel plates).Steel grade A283 Grade C in steel specification of ASTM A283/A283M (Low and intermediate tensile strength carbon steel plates). Steel grade SA283 Grade C in steel specification of ASME SA283/SA283M (Low and intermediate tensile strength carbon steel plates).

In European steel standard,there are steel grades S235JR,S235J0,S235J2 in steel specification of EN 10025-2.(Hot rolled products of structural steel plates)

In German steel standard,there is steel grade St37-2 in steel specification of DIN 17100. (Hot rolled carbon steel plates)

In Janpanese steel standard,there is steel grade SS400 in steel specification of JIS G3101 and steel grades SM400A,SM400B,SM400C in steel specification of JIS G3106.

In Chinese steel standard,there are steel grades Q235B,Q235A,Q235C,Q235D in steel specification of GB/T700.
